OUR STORY
Founded by John and Bernice Ditzfeld, Ditzfeld Transfer began in 1960 with two straight trucks performing local tasks for customers and LTL carriers in the Sedalia, Missouri area. In 1968 the first tractor trailer rig was purchased. Shortly after that, the second generation of Ditzfelds, Ron and Donnie, joined their parents in the operation.
Over the next 30 years the family continued to build their trucking operation to over 30 OTR rigs. In 1997 the warehousing division of Ditzfeld Transfer was formed with the purchase of a 50,000 square foot warehouse facility.
Today, the third generation of the family, Ron’s sons, Steve and Sam, are an integral part of Ditzfeld, Inc. Steve currently manages the over 1 Million square foot warehousing operation, while Sam manages the transportation operation with more than 50 power units and 160 trailers.

To ensure our customers receive the highest level of service we utilize state-of-the-art technology, including equipping all of our trucks with positional tracking, and the recently installed Red Prairie Warehouse Management System, we are your transportation and warehousing solution.
